Owner Duval was so nice! Check in was easy, our little dog was accepted and the room was very clean. Most important to me was the beds which were clean and comfortable. We definitely would stay here again! A. McKinty

these bad reviews are coming from people who are looking for that vip premium stay that u will not find in a motel if that’s what your looking for look somewhere else, this motel is the 100% best one in sylvan lake. I’ve been coming to sylvan lake since I was born and my family has tried almost all the motels here and this has got to be the cleanest one, and friendliest one. It’s affordable with a 5-10 min walk from the beach and the restaurants. the workers here are hardworking and very good with costumer services, they do a great job tidying up the rooms keeping them clean. Includes free parking, has lots of channels and options on the tvs here. Good with space for family’s. every since we found this motel we haven’t gone anywhere else this motel is definitely worth it if ur looking for a affordable stay and your not going to find a nicer cheaper motel right by the beach then this one 1000% recommend.

Inexpensive, shower curtain needs replacement. Older motel, with older furnishings. Floors and sheets looked clean. Near the water.

For a motel located on Lakeshore Dr, this property is decent. Super friendly staff, excellent location and very clean rooms. Our suite had a small kitchen and fridge. The surprise was the hot water and pressure in the shower.

Very friendly staff, short walk to the beach and to restaurants. Bed were big and comfy. Only problems I personally had were the floors hadnt been properly mopped/cleaned in a while. Yes they swept but the tile was still so dirty, my bare feet turned black. The bathroom door needed to be slammed to be shut which was an issue when it was after 11pm and was in quiet time. The people in the next room over were cooking fish so the room stunk. I will say though, they allowed us access to their netflix which they really dont have to do but did anyway. Overall, id give it 4 stars. Just needs to be properly cleaned and updated. Otherwise amazing little motel. Despite the issues, I’d stay there again!

I was very impressed at the Edgewater Inn Jennifer it's a great host very professional with excellent service. The rooms are very clean and cozy the beds are super comfortable and fresh. Thank you Jennifer and the Edgewater Inn!

I have stayed here in the past and I liked it so much, I made it an extended stay. Jennifer is a kind, honest, and gracious host. She was a joy to my day always accommodating my needs! The rooms were clean and tidy for an older building. The price reflects a motel but you cannot beat the price for being across from lake access but still away from the hustle and bustle like the more expensive motels up the street. Thank you Edgewater Inn and especially Jennifer for all you have done to help me! I will never forget my positive experience and will be sure to stay again when I am in Sylvan Lake!

One of the cleanest motel rooms we’ve ever stayed in. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The outside of the property has seen better days for sure. Overall, it’s great value for the amenities offered.
